Today we are in a menswear store and going to buy a few shirts… Here is a sample dialogue that can happen between a consultant in the shop and a buyer. Listen to the audio recording a few times until all the words sound natural for you. Let's start!

– До́брый день, я могу́ вам помо́чь?

– Good afternoon, can I help you?

– Да, я хоте́л подобрать руба́шку.

– Yes, I wanted to pick up a shirt.

– Како́й у вас разме́р?

– What is your size?

– Рост 170 и 40-й воротни́к.

– Height 170 and the collar 40.

– Цвет име́ет значе́ние?

– Any specific color?

– Лу́чше что-нибу́дь пасте́льное.

– Better something pastel.

– Хорошо́. Вот не́сколько. Хоти́те приме́рить каки́е-нибу́дь?

– Good. Here are a few. Do you want to try on some?

– Дава́йте, вот э́ту голубу́ю

– Yes, this blue one

– Хорошо́, что-нибу́дь ещё посмо́трите?

– Good, do you want to have a look at anything else?

– Да, ещё мне нужна́ руба́шка с коро́ткими рукава́ми. У вас есть?

– Yes, I also need a shirt with short sleeves. Do you have any*?

– Есть, цвет и разме́р таки́е же?

– Is the color and size the same?

– Разме́р да, а цвет мо́жно поя́рче.

– The size yes, but the color could be a little brighter

– Вот есть не́сколько, каки́е вам бо́льше нра́вятся?

– Here we have a few, which ones do you like best?

– Я приме́рю вот э́ти две.

– I’ll try on these two.

– Прекра́сно. Приме́рочные в конце́ за́ла нале́во.

– Wonderful. The fitting rooms at the end of the hall to the left.

– Спаси́бо.

– Thank you.

– Ну как, разме́р подошёл?

– So how, did the size fit?

– Да, разме́р мой.

– Yes, perfect, it is my size

– Бу́дете брать?

– Will you take them?

– Я возьму́ голубу́ю с дли́нным рукаво́м и вот э́ти две с коро́тким.

– I’ll take a blue one with long sleeves and these two ones with short sleeves.

– Отли́чно. Плати́ть бу́дете нали́чными и́ли по ка́рте?

– Excellent. Will you pay in cash or by credit card?

– По ка́рте.

– By card.

– У вас есть на́ша диско́нтная ка́рта?

– Do you have our discount card?

– Нет.

– No, I don’t.

– Тогда́ я вам сейча́с её офо́рмлю.

– Then I’ll give you one now.

– Спаси́бо.

– Thank you.
