Is it possible the Amex Platinum has rise back to take the crown as the #1 credit card of 2026? I've seen a lot of things in my decade plus in the credit card industry. One thing that has always been consistent is that the Amex Platinum is not that great a card. Well, in late 2025, that changed, and in 2026, this card is hands down offering the most value across all the flagship cards out there. Even for those who are not heavy travelers the sign up bonus is something you should 100% be trying to jump on.
